This web-based User Knowledge Profile (UKP) evaluates a user’s CATIA V5 skill level. CATIA V5 skills are analyzed by having the user answer multiple-choice questions and perform hands-on tasks regarding topics such as creating sketches, features, and assemblies.
The UKP consists of six sections, each containing one or more hands-on tasks and multiple-choice questions.
Section topics include:

The report provided at the end of the UKP will identify both the user's proficiency of the software as well as areas that require improvement. ASCENT's UKP uses trail files to record every step the user makes when working within the specified software. By analyzing the trail file, ASCENT is able to determine not only the end results, but also how the user arrived at those results. As a manager, you will receive a detailed report that outlines the overall user results and individual performance profiles on a case-by-case basis. The report also offers specific strategies for improvement for each user, including recommended targeted learning.
