ASCENT
has been pioneering knowledge products since 1996, and
our experience has shown that people who receive the same
training often show different levels of productivity. This
occurs due to different learning styles, different course
content retention levels, different understanding of technology
enhancements, and sometimes lack of use.
To assist users in getting the most out of the curriculum, we offer two types
of knowledge assessment tools designed to identify existing proficiency levels
and future training recommendations. Each of these tools provides users with
the opportunity to retain what they have learned and apply it on the
job daily to enhance efficiency and productivity:
User Quizzes - allow users to accurately
measure their current knowledge of core functionality by
answering a series of technical questions related to the
software. Upon completion of each quiz, clients receive their
results, which will assist in determining any training requirements
at that level. Usage reports are also available to users
upon request.
User Knowledge Profile - evaluates CATIA skills such as creating
simple features, sketches, and assemblies through a series of hands-on tasks
and quizzes. Delivered online, the User Knowledge Profile takes approximately
two hours to complete, although there is no set time limit.
CATIA Knowledge Assessment Tools:
CATIA: Level
1 User Quiz
This User Quiz targets Level 1 students to provide them with an effective
mechanism to identify skill gaps before proceeding onto advanced training.
Upon completion of the User Quiz, students receive results that will assist
them in determining training requirements at that level.
CATIA
V5 User Knowledge Profile: Introductory Level
This web-based User Knowledge Profile (UKP) evaluates
a user’s CATIA V5 skill level such as creating
simple features, sketches, and assemblies through a series
of hands-on tasks and quizzes. Delivered online, the
UKP takes approximately two hours to complete, although
there is no set time limit.
