Join ASCENT's Martha Hollowell for a free webcast where she'll give an overview of how Advance Steel works by creating a basic 3D model with columns and beams that are connected using tools in the Connection Manager. From there, she'll create 2D drawings from the model using the quick document palettes tools and view these drawings using the Document Manager.

Meet the Author: Martha Hollowell

Martha Martha incorporates her passion for architecture and education into all her projects, including the training guides she creates on Autodesk Revit for Architecture, MEP, and Structure and now for Advance Steel. She started working with AutoCAD in the early 1990's, adding AutoCAD Architecture and Autodesk Revit as they came along.

After receiving a B.Sc. in Architecture from the University of Virginia, she worked in the architectural department of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and later in private practice, consulting with firms setting up AutoCAD in their offices.

Martha has over 20 years' experience as a trainer and instructional designer. She is skilled in leading individuals and small groups to understand and build on their potential. Martha is trained in Instructional Design and has achieved the Autodesk Certified Professional designation for Revit Architecture.
